OnyxMetric

Claude

Connect OnyxMetric to Claude as a custom connector, then ask about your analytics in the browser, the desktop app, or on your phone

Adding OnyxMetric as a custom connector turns Claude into a conversational analytics interface: ask how a launch went, why traffic spiked on Tuesday, or where a funnel drops off — without opening the dashboard.

You add the connector once. It is tied to your Claude account, so the same connection works on claude.ai, in Claude Desktop, and in the Claude mobile apps.

OnyxMetric answering a traffic question inside Claude

What you need

  • An OnyxMetric account with access to at least one site.

  • A Claude account. Custom connectors are available on all Claude plans; the Free plan is limited to one.

  • The endpoint URL:

    https://app.onyxmetric.com/api/mcp

There is no API key to copy. Claude connects through OnyxMetric's OAuth flow: you log in, approve access, and the connector acts with your user's role.

How it goes

  1. Add the connector in Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it OnyxMetric, and paste the URL.
  2. Approve access on the OnyxMetric consent screen that opens.
  3. Turn it on in a chat from the tools menu, then ask a question.

Team and Enterprise plans

On Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector for the whole organization under Organization settings → Connectors. Each member then clicks Connect on it and approves access with their own OnyxMetric login, so everyone sees only the sites they can already see.
