Integration Guides
systeme.io
Add OnyxMetric analytics to your systeme.io funnels
systeme.io has an account-wide Tracking code setting under Settings > Sales Funnels that adds code to every funnel page, plus a per-page Tracking section in the page editor. Use the account-wide setting unless you need one page only.
Copy your tracking snippet
In OnyxMetric, open your site's Site Settings and copy the tracking script. It looks like this:
<script src="https://app.onyxmetric.com/api/script.js?siteId=YOUR_SITE_ID" async></script>YOUR_SITE_ID is the numeric ID of your site.
Add the snippet to systeme.io
- Click your profile picture at the top right and choose Settings.
- Select Sales Funnels in the left menu.
- Paste the snippet into the Tracking code box and click Save.
The code is added to every page in every funnel on the account.
- Open the funnel, select the page in the list on the left, and click Edit page.
- Click Settings at the upper left of the editor and scroll to Tracking.
- Paste the snippet into the header field (the one for code between
<head>and</head>). - Save the page.
Paste only the <script> tag. systeme.io asks that custom code never include its own <head>, <body>, or <html> tags.
Check that it works
Load your live site and click through a few pages. Pageviews show up in the OnyxMetric dashboard within seconds.
If nothing arrives:
- View the page source and search for
script.js?siteId=to confirm the tag is present. - In the browser's Network tab, check that
script.jsreturns200and that requests go to/api/track. - Turn off ad blockers, or proxy the script through your own domain.
- Read script troubleshooting for other causes.
Troubleshooting
- Duplicate pageviews: the snippet is in both the account-wide Tracking code and a page's Tracking section. Keep one.
- Not visible in preview: custom code runs on the live page only. Open the published funnel URL.
- Pages outside funnels: the Sales Funnels setting covers funnel pages. Blog and course pages have their own settings, so add the snippet there too if you want that traffic in the same site.
Next steps
- Track custom events such as signups, purchases, and clicks.
- Identify users to tie sessions to accounts.
- Proxy the script through your own domain to get past ad blockers.
- Script attributes let you skip or mask URLs and tag events.
